Highgrove Church is a vibrant community of around 150 adults and 70 children. We seek to be open, modern, relevant and, above all, authentic in our approach to church and faith.
The church meets every Sunday morning at 10.30am in our building in Sea Mills, and we run various midweek activities in our local community. We highly value our strong links with the other churches in Sea Mills and the surrounding area.
At heart we’re a community of people dedicated to following Jesus, with a faith that engages with modern life. There’s a great feeling of family in our church and we’re open to anyone and everyone, regardless of where you are on your own spiritual journey.
Highgrove Church was started in 1983 and after rapid growth the church planted a further congregation in Henleaze and Westbury (The Community Church) in 1993. Two years later a third church, Woodlands, was started in Clifton. These three sister churches remain linked to this day, as the Woodlands Group of Churches. What began with just a handful of people in 1983 has mushroomed incredibly. Yet our vision has stayed the same all the way through.
